IMPORTANT NOTICE:

In light of the First District Court of Appeal's decision to overturn Florida's ban on open carry, we want to remind our members, customers and guests that does not change OUR procedures regarding open carry and holster draw on our ranges. To reiterate, for the safety of our RSO's, members, and visitors, our Standard Operating Procedures on our property are as follows:

CARRY RESTRICTIONS ON DCGC PROPERTY:

    • Members and visitors are prohibited from open carry anywhere on DCGC property, except for designated RSO controlled shooting events.

    • Members and visitors are prohibited from drawing and shooting from open carry and/or concealed carry, except for designated RSO controlled shooting events.

    • All firearms must be UNLOADED and carried to the public range in a hard case, soft case, shooting bag, sock, or some enclosure that prohibits the operation of the gun.

    • Members and visitors that do not have an available gun enclosure MUST carry their firearms to the range with the actions open, magazines out, and muzzles pointed up.

For our Spanish speaking patrons:

AVISO IMPORTANTE: A raíz de la decisión de la Corte de Apelaciones del Primer Distrito de anular la prohibición de portar armas abiertamente en Florida, queremos recordar a nuestros miembros, clientes e invitados que esto no cambia NUESTROS procedimientos con respecto a la portación abierta y al desenfunde desde la vaqueta en nuestros campos de tiro. Para reiterar, por la seguridad de nuestros Oficiales de Seguridad del Campo de Tiro (RSOs), miembros y visitantes, nuestros Procedimientos Operativos Estándar (SOP’s) en nuestra propiedad son los siguientes:

RESTRICCIONES DE PORTE DE ARMAS EN LA PROPIEDAD DE DCGC: 

    • Los miembros y visitantes tienen prohibido portar armas abiertamente en cualquier lugar de la propiedad de DCGC, excepto en eventos de tiro controlados por un Oficial de Seguridad del Campo de Tiro (RSO) designado. 

    • Los miembros y visitantes tienen prohibido desenfundar y disparar desde porte abierto o porte oculto, excepto en eventos de tiro controlados por un RSO designado. 

    • Todas las armas de fuego deben estar DESCARGADAS y transportadas al campo de tiro público en una funda rígida, funda blanda, bolsa de tiro, calcetín/media o algún tipo de estuche que impida el funcionamiento del arma. 

    • Los miembros y visitantes que no dispongan de un estuche adecuado DEBEN consultar con el RSO de turno para recibir instrucciones PREVIAS sobre cómo proceder al campo de tiro con sus armas de fuego.
